Do I need a permit to remove a tree on my property?
On most private residential lots on the Delmarva Peninsula you don't, but some towns, historic districts, and Critical Area properties near the Chesapeake Bay have rules. We'll tell you what applies to your property before work starts.
How do you price a removal?
Price depends on the tree's size (we measure trunk diameter at 4.5 feet, called DBH), how close it is to structures, and whether it can be felled whole or has to come down in pieces. We give a written price after seeing it.
